Purchased quite a few pairs of tongs in my life;some turned out to be flimsy,not well engineered,etc.,but these Cuisipro tongs are quite good.I prefer them even to my All Clad tongs,which are very good.They're tough yet won't rip the a delicate breading or batter,can pick up baked goods without mashing them,can pick up an entire roast easily,plus they have a really good tactile response.Some of these responses might seem over the top for just a simple pair of tongs,but c'est le vie.........
