I love this cheese grater. It's so much easier to grate cheese with the side by side style grater. This is our second one; the first held up wonderfully for about 5 years. It stayed sharp and easy to use. My kids love the extensions so they can grate over a bowl or plate. Definitely worth the extra money!

Cuisipro Accutec Extension GraterThis grater measures 8-1/2 inches long at its smallest length for handheld grating and extends to 12 inches for balancing over a bowl and grating directly into the dish you?re preparing. Made of 18/10 stainless steel, the tool has a fine grating surface on one side for citrus zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, or garlic and a coarser side for grating hard cheese, chocolate, or vegetables. Its Accutec blade is photo-etched rather than stamped like most grating blades. As such, the blade is extremely sharp and holds its edge over time. This blade also glides through food without tearing or shredding, retaining the food?s fresh flavor. Nonslip rubber pads coat the handles on either end to prevent slipping.
