In my humble opinion, this is the best on the market. I have owned my Cuisipro nutmeg grater for 12 plus years and it still does a great job. The plastic lid lifts up revealing a convenient storage space for 2 or 3 whole nutmeg and a place to keep your partially used nutmeg. It's a far superior design to the microplane version which comes apart and is very difficult to use, and is a little dangerous. I have never grated myself with the Cuisipro. The grater inside of the Cuisipro is still sharp and I use mine a lot. If you are looking for a nutmeg grater, this is the one to go with.
